ABOUT HER WORK, THE ARTIST SAYS:
This winter when I was absorbed in dismantling old LCD screens, I found that the slimy substance that held the glass in the screen was liquid crystals, the same substance as the residue in the path that snails leave behind.



I became a bit obsessed with needing to find a way to collect the liquid crystals of the snails onto the disassembled screens and after conversations with biologists about the travels and curiosity of snails and a lot of research about Copse snails around Reykjavik, an attempt at this convergence was set up for the exhibition in May, the month of its inauguration.
